I recently dined at Coco Palm, a restaurant that offers Cuban-inspired dishes, and I must say, the panoramic views were absolutely beautiful. The ample parking made it convenient to visit, and the clean and nice ambiance added to the overall dining experience. Our waiter, Luis, while nothing special, efficiently took care of our needs. We started off with some piña coladas, which were refreshing and delicious. The highlight of our meal was definitely the mouthwatering paella - cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor. If you're looking for a place with outstanding views and delectable Cuban-inspired dishes, Coco Palm is definitely worth a visit. I'll be returning for more of that delightful paella!

I totally recommend this place for an event, the food is excellent, only downfall can't take left overs. Service is awesome Rhonda was very helpful in helping with the planning, our waiter was excellent young man sorry can't remember his name started with a "J". Ambiance beautiful, table setting was perfect. I'd like to give the bartender a tip, next time someone says "put it on his bill" please make sure the person that's paying agrees, bartender was asking my son to pay for a drink that someone asked to put on his bill :(. He wasn't very nice about it either. I know it gets busy there, probably a scammer that does this often, puts his drinks on unsuspecting customers. Overall I give five stars. :)

Sunday Brunch at Coco Palm in Pomona is filled with a ton of tasty food. I have been here before but I never had their Sunday Brunch before. I came here recently for a friend's graduation celebration and this place was super packed and busy. We made reservations since it was a large party. Overall once you get seated and your entire party arrives you have technically 90 minutes to enjoy the food. It's buffet style, so you can grab whatever you like from their choices. They have a mix of food and I also have their salad, some paella, and a mix of meats. Had their cooked salmon and large shrimp that were chilled. They also have crab legs so go all out on those if you enjoy seafood! Ceviche was nice as well.

I was here a few years ago for a wedding and once here over 20 years ago for another occasion [i can't recall the occasion]. Always remember it being a very nice place. Yesterday I was there for a birthday party and again, we had a very good time. Everything was well done including the service. The prices are steep but the quality and atmosphere is very nice. Plenty of clean bathrooms for all the people there and we were in a rented small hall on the south side of the property. Well small is relative, our group had about 50 - 60 people. The buffet line is impressive and delicious. CRAB LEGS, Pallela, salmon, fried fish [PESCADO FRITO was incredibly delicious], Ropa Vieja, CEVICHE, LECHON and a carving station with beef and ham. That was on one side. Items in all caps are must haves! The other side had fried platanos [plantains] , arroz con frijoles [yes it may just be rice and beans to you but all Central American and the Caribbean countries have some version of black beans and rice. My Costa Rican heritage call it Gallo Pinto and it's an important and delicious staple for breakfast. But they also had ox tails, chicken prepared in so many different and delicious ways. I was looking at the Pallela first but was so disappointed that I ran out of room before I could get it onto my plate. Unfortunately, I could not go back because I was so full but now I have an excuse to go back :) The bar prices seemed steep to me. While the waitress was super sweet, she was overwhelmed with the volume of people. I think they need to give her some support. It's graduation season, a baptism party and our 60 person birthday party plus many patrons that just come in for lunch and they had one bartender. At one point, she even excused herself and went to help a table in the patio then came back in to make our drinks. At $15 a drink, you would think they would want to pour as many drinks as they could. Prior to leaving, we talked about having one more drink and one in our group said, "I don't want to wait in that line" and we all decided not to go back. The day we went it was very busy and there was NO self park. Valet parking was $8.

We came to celebrate a friend's birthday and were a large party. We dinned in a banquet room which had amazing views and festive ambiance. The decor is esthetically stunning with spacious parking and an entrance that greets you with flowing ponds and exotic birds. Now let's talk about the food, since we were a large party we were provided with a set menu. I ordered the salmon that was full of flavors and delectable. It was accompanied by perfectly grilled vegetables, mouth watering rice, and tasty plantains. Great dish!! Our server was amazing, she was so attentive even though we were a large party. She was polite, friendly, and had great knowledge of the menu that added another layer of enjoyment to the dinning experience.

Food: 4* Service: 4* Ambiance: 4* Value: 3* Stopped here for lunch with a colleague. I ordered the lechon and a yuca frita appetizer. The yuca fries were good, but really under-seasoned. The dipping sauce was a must. The lechon. Oh my word, can we talk about the lechon? Juicy, tender, melt-in-your-mouth delicious! Very flavorful and oh so tender. The sides of rice and black beans (already mixed) was good, if not dry. The maduros were perfect, sweet, but not too sweet. I would return. The only issue are the prices. Pretty expensive for Cuban food.
